Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
and
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jones
are proud to announcethe wedding of thier children..
Donna Smith
and
Donald Jones

List the parents whos name is first alphabetically first and thier childs name first...

When and if they ask why you listed them that way say we did it alphebetically because you are both so much help...

Or you can flip a coin... Do it similar to flipping a coin at a football game... have both sets of parents there and explain the dilemma then suggest the coin toss....

You may never reach the coin toss as your sets of parents will likely solve the problem before the coin is tossed...

The wording of the invitation has nothing to do with who is paying for the wedding. Just use traditional wording:
Jane Nancy Doe,
daughter of John and Ann Doe,
and
Joe Fred Cool,
son of Phil and Mary Cool,
request the honour of your presence...
OR
Jane Nancy Doe,
and
Joe Fred Cool,
together with their families,
request.....

The same as if only one family was paying for the wedding.

Or you could say "together with our parents..."
