I work at Bath and Body Works and use the Bronze Bombshell products. We have an instant tanner with a bronzer and a little sparkle about 15.00 and no smell, no orange and you can see where it goes on. There is an airbrush tan in a can with no orange. Also a couple of gradual tanners from Bronze Bombshell and also the Breathe collection 24/7 gradual tan. I LOVE the instant tan.
The best advice is to ALWAYS exfoliate before applying. Wait about 30 minutes after you get out of the shower since your pores are open and can leave little pit marks on your skin. Also ALWAYS moiturize before applying the lotion. Let it set a few minutes before applying tanner.
The fragrance is an orange amber frangrace. DO NOT sleep in it however. For some reason the fragrance can turn a little bit.
Hope that helps :)

Well I've only used one...it's new from BeautiControl...Leg Apeel. I thought it gave me a real natural looking color. They also have a face product (Sunlogics - Sunless Tanning Lotion) that is mentioned on www.sunless.com.
The Leg Apeel has a 3-step system....exfoliating lotion to apply overnight, a leg scrub to use in the shower the next morning, and then the self tanner. I applied the tanner in a circular motion until it was completely absorbed.
Hope that helps!

The best results I've seen come from the spray on kind from the tanning salon. All the drugstore varieties give me a sherbert to carmel color that screams 'trying too hard' and smell terrible. Even the ones that smell nice in the bottle turn rank as the chemicals interact.
