Since your hair is oily & not that long, you can skip conditioner or just apply a little bit to the ends.
A few times a week, try a clarifying shampoo (Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo) or apply toner to your roots (witch hazel).

In ur hair there is a gland where ur dirt comes out of which makes your hair oily.some people have more over active glands than others. Shampooing hair alot does not make your hair more greasy just make sure u condition when u shampoo so ur hair stays in good condition.
Shampoo twice and use warm water and when u condition use cold water and only put the conditioner on the ends of your hair.Dont use a shampoo for shiny hair e.g.Herbal essence.Make sure that you rinse all the shampoo and conditioner out.
Hope this helps

Well,i had the same problem,i didnt wash my hair out good when i put in conditioner or shampoo, now i use a brush in the shower and brush through my hair to make sure all the contents have been through my hair and gone!Try not using as much o and don't put a lot of conditioner on the top part of your head it produces more oils if you do,wash your scalp good with shampoo/conditioner not so much conditioner though.
Good luck!!!

im not quite sure of the cause. but im pretty sure that using too much conditioner can make your hair oily,. try to use a lesser amount when you take a bath, since you probably wont be needing much of it.
avoid putting hair gels or anything.
or better yet, go to a doctor and ask him ;) goodluck!

Try washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner once every two days. Sometimes if you wash it TOO often it gets greasy like that.
