Help! I'm trying to find a good pair of bridal shoes that have a decent heel (at least 3.5 in), are open toe, and kinda strappy. My shoe budget is around $650 so if anybody out there could send me links and give some good suggestions, that would be great. Dont worry about the price, hes paying and I plan to spend the max! If anyone has tried what they are recommending, please let me know what you thought of the shoes. Thanks for your help!

If you're going to spend $650 on shoes, at least get a fabulous pair you can wear for more than one day. Personally, I can't see spending that much money on a pair of wedding shoes especially since you'll be on your feet most of the day and will be dying to take them off. Just because you CAN spend that much money doesn't mean you should.

Oh, and if you're going to change shoes from one heel height to another, you may run into a problem with the length of your dress. Your dress is usually hemmed to the height of the heel you plan on wearing. If you switch to a flat shoe or slipper for the reception from a 4" heel, you're going to have 3+ inches of your dress dragging on the ground. Just something to consider.

If you're WANTING to spend $650 on shoes, I feel sorry for your future husband. Be reasonable, get some shoes at a decent price, and make sure they're comfortable. Use the extra cash on your honeymoon.

There is more to consider when you buy your shoes for your wedding, then cost.
1) A dress that has a plain skirt, calls for an elaborated decorated shoe.
2) Shoes with back straps must fit perfectly, or you will be annoyed all night.
If you want extra height, and still walk gracefully, consider a pair stylish platforms.
3) If you plan on dancing all night, consider a pair of professional dancing shoes. They are extremely comfortable, and can be dressed up with beautiful clips, that you can remove, when you plan on doing some serious dancing.
Whatever shoe you choose, remember to rough up the sole, so no accidents happen. Just my personal opinion..... Save that exorbitant amount of money you plan to spend on shoes, and buy a hot new outfit on your honeymoon.

That is a huge budget for shoes that you are going to hate once you start walking around or dancing at you reception. I would suggest you get a pair of heels just for the ceremony and once you walk into you reception. Take them off and put them somewhere that they will not be taken or stolen. Then for dancing, get flat comfy flats such as ballet shoes. Don't go overboard with the price either. That could be used for the honeymoon.

Zappos.com has lots of shoes, from pricey designer shoes to in expensive. I've ordered from them before and they are wonderful they usually arrive next day and their return policy is great. You can also narrow it down by heel size, color and style. Also they usually include free shipping so if you don't like them you can send them back no questions asked. However if your shoe budget is around $650 I would personally go and try them on. There is not much to complain about when trying on a pair of Jimmy Choo's! Good Luck.

Dyeables has some really cute open toes that are about that height. Go to any bridal shop and they'll have what you're looking for. Also, try DSW, they'll have anything open toed, and some of their stuff is expensive, I've seen bridal shoes there

If you have a $650 budget for shoes, go all out and find a cool pair of Manolo Blahnik's!

650 for shoes?!?!?!?! Okay, maybe I'm just a little jealous... but c'mon now... Unless your dress is tea-length, no one is really going to see them anyways. Why not spend the extra money on your honeymoon or stuff for the house (or mansion if you're willing to spend $650 on shoes)?

I bought an awesome pair of Jimmy Choo's.... they were $640, lol, so they fit your budget perfectly! I have embellishments on my dress so I wanted the same on the shoes and they are soooo comfy! Or maybe its just because I love Jimmy Choo and I get excited putting them on? The link I have is a picture of them in black but they have a few different colors!

that is alot of money to spend on shoes! wow. i got my shoes at Mervyn's and they were exactly what you are describing. Like the other person said, put that money into a savings account.

Heres a tip though: No one is going to see them, and you don't want them to hurt so bad that you take your $650 shoes off in 30 mins.

Best of Luck!
