It seems more logical to me that you as a gay man ask questions here and perhaps heterosexuals that genuinely want to know something. But..... you will always have the knockers of life, those that are angry and frightened of what they dont understand who will post vitriolic comments. Its the same in the R&S section, some are there to learn , others just to slam. Keep asking and just maybe one peanut may take notice and jump off the biggot bandwagon.

Why of course. The religious types here conduct their own lives as their leader jesus and their god would want them to.
RIGHT Everyone??? There's no religious homophobic hypocrites out there now are there? It would be a shock to me if there are!!!!

Okay, I'm surprised.
24 answers and only one chose to assume you wanted to be a Christian and would have to recognize your homosexuality is "an abomination".
Better than I expected.
It's a public forum, Tracer. Feel free to use it appropriately. Unless things have changed much, you'll find thoughtful people and thoughtless people here, pretty much as you would in society. You don't need to announce your sexuality to drink at a bar, you don't need to worry about it here either (unless you're rather hyper-sensitive about it, which is more your problem than theirs).
We've all got our crosses to bear ;-)

its simple, if you don't want people to answer your question, don't ask.
If you ask, expect to get some answers that will offend you. That's what this is all about, expressing opinions. If you cannnot handle others who don't agree with you, don't ask quesitons.
But other than that, its fine that you, even though you are gay, to ask questions. For example, if you were to ask if gay is a sin, I would answer you by saying, YES, GAY IS SIN! I might not turn on my caps lock, but I would tell you honestly what I believe to be true.
So ask, ask and ask again.

You are most welcome to ask questions here, providing you've filled out the application form in triplicate, given full details of your income, expected income in 5 years and last 2 years tax returns.
Then, after a waiting period of 30 to 60 days, we will let you answer one question a day.
:)

I will answer any sincere question by anyone on this site, regardless of their lifestyle. I won't bash anyone for doing something the Bible condemns, regardless of what that is. If you ask me about it, I'll quote scriptures to back up what I say, but I won't berate you for it. Simply believing that homosexuality is wrong doesn't make me a homophobe...

I think it is fine if you wish to ask a question, but you will also have to accept it is an open forum, and people diametrically opposed to you is likely to be attracted to your question. Don't sweat it. They're just as afraid of you as you are of them ;)
