This recipe has sourcream IN it and is really good =0}
4-5 small cans of mandarin oranges, drain all the cans except one
1 bag of mini marshmellows
1 small container of sourcream
Mix all ingredients and place in bowl, cover and store in refrigerator for at least one hour. The longer the better. Believe it or not this is a sweet tasting dish, i guess its because of the marshmellows.

It goes with Cream Cheese to make cheese cake too!
8oz cream cheese
8oz sour cream or yoghurt
2 eggs
2oz of your favorite liquer
1prepared graham wafer cake/pie shell in a springform pan
place the cream cheese in your mixer and beat on medium while you guide the cheese into the beaters with a rubber spatula. Once it has smoothed out a bit add one of the eggs and scrap down the sides of the bowl until it has incorportated into the cheese. Now repeat with the second egg. Now add the sour cream into the mix and beat till smooth again. Now add the liquer slowly while beating on high speed. Pour into the prepared pan and bake in the oven:
At 350 for 30 min-drop temp to 300 for 30 min-drop temp to 250 for 30 min then turn off heat and let stand in oven for 15 min then open door and let stand in open oven for 30 min then cool on a wire rack out of the oven but away from cool breezes to avoid cracking the cake. Serve with chocolate sauce or your favorite sundae topping

It seems many Mexican dishes call for sour cream. It's also used in a lot of dips. My favorite use is for beef Strogonoff.
