bananas can be frozen for a few months..the best way is to unpeel the bananas, slice them then put on cookie sheet in freezer for about an hour to flash freeze them..then put straight into a freezer bag. When making a milkshake, the bananas should still be white in color...you can add that to the blender along with milk and ice cream.....
or>>when i see my bananas are going off (turning brown on the skin) i put them into the freezer whole.and when i have about 8-9 bananas...i dethaw them out...and make banana bread* Yummmmmmmmmmm*

They will keep for a long, long time, but it all depends on what you're using the banana for. If you are making smoothies, frozen bananas are the best way to go, even when they appear to be black on the outside. I wouldn't reccommend thawing them, though.

Yes, it will still be good. I've kept frozen bananas in the freezer for up to 2 months and used them for banana bread.

A long time. I've eaten frozen bananas (yummy) or used them in smoothies months after i threw them in there and they were still perfectly fine. I would not thaw them though. If you want to thaw them, just smell them, you'll be able to tell if it's a keeper or trash.

Quite a while. when you thaw it, smell it, that will be the best judge. Then make some banana bread.
