lol I suppose it is invalidated then eh? Just like evolution.
You can throw in the heliocentric model of the solar system.
Why not the shape of the earth itself?
And I suppose mothers-in-law have no purpose either. Hey, wait, maybe there is something to this...

In reference to this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ajt3a7OX9sm32a0AX3IciMXd7BR.?qid=20070416184621AAZvuUy apparently evolution presents no moral code and is therefore invalidated. What a nutcase.

Ever heard the phrase "Gravity is a weak force" ? My Astronomy teacher is a fanatic about the force of gravity, and constantly reprimands his students when they use gravity as a default answer to questions with a hard answer.
As for mothers-in-law, good luck with that one :p

I was immoral once. I tried to break the law of gravity. I went duck hunting and no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't throw my friends poodle high enough up in the air without him coming down. I never did get any ducks, either. Gravity. It's the law. Why fight it?

well that's just it. god made the universe to be reasoned by science perfectly, if evolution did occour then the world will be a lot different because it does not fit perfectly into place. he also made it allign perfectly in a natural state to prove that he is perfect.
anyway, if it'll get your hopes up. if you become a christian by judgement time you'll (A) get bailed out from the horrifying apocolypse. and (B) reside in the new jeruselem in the new world wich will have a new order so it might be in a different shape all together then ^-^

Yes, a moral code from gravity: You need extra energy from without you to overcome gravity; even external power!
Evil is very similar to gravity, it keeps pulling you down. You need extra power from without you to overcome evil.
And, after studying every teaching availabe on earth, throughout the history, you will find it was only Jesus that supply people with extra-power to be able to overcome evil!
Be blessed, buddy!

Anybody else tired of non questions being posed in a questions based forum? I suspect that "Jedi" does not really want answers to ANY question he has posted. Review the list and you will see what I am getting at. Furthermore, his profile contains the absolutely stunning slap in the face to EVERYONE here, "I will rule you."
Here's what I suggest: atheists, Christians, agnostics, buddhists, sikhs, wiccans and whatever other belief system may be participating, SHUN HIM AND REFUSE TO ADDRESS ANY QUESTION HE POSTS UNTIL HE CAN LEARN TO BE CIVIL AND POLITE. Some of us, Christian and otherwise, still value this as a basic prerequisite for a stable society.

God is the repulsive force formally known as dark matter, that comprises 70% of the universe. Gravity is nothing next to God.

Gravity gives us a moral code, it's why we have pockets. Pockets keep our money safely attached, and gravity is used to make them work. Why have pockets? So no one can steal your stuff.
Oh okay, I'm tired and a little goofy lol

science cannot answer a moral dilemma. That would belong to philosophy. And thus Religious philosophy would be included.

Gravity doesn't have a mind; only you do, and only you can create a moral code.
And only you can prevent forest fires.
