we should pay taxes because it helps everyone. If you don't pay your taxes the governement goes bankrupt (more than it already is) and any good that the Government does, will stop. Patriotism, and To stay out of jail are the other answers, but not to strong.
one legal way to not pay tazes, is staying at your parent's and not making enough money to pay taxes.
Also, there's a movie, (i forgot what it is called) where a group is going to plant a bomb inside an asteroid so it doesn't hit the earth, well, one of the guys asks the government to never again pay taxes, and they promiss him that. So if you can save the world from imminent asteroid impact, you could not pay taxes.
or you could die, that way you don't have income.
;-)

"Voluntary Compliance" means that you calculate your taxes on your time using whatever process you wish. It does not mean taxes are voluntary.
Most people who try to claim this end up paying huge penalties and interest and some end up in jail.

Tax monies are used to provide social amenities and infrastructure for the citizens. You don't have to pay taxes if you're unemployed. Tax paying isn't voluntary compliance; its required by law!

Paying taxes is not voluntary. Period. No matter what the tax evaders keep telling you. You have to pay your taxes.
Do you like paved roads? How about police and fire service? What about clean drinking water? Public schools? Libraries? Democracy? None of these things would exist without the funds to pay for them.

1)Get married to someone who enjoys being the one in the house who brings home the bacon.
2)The only money you will ever get is a grocery allowance (because you will be the one doing the shopping) & Amazon.com credit via gift cards. You can still buy ****, but the government can't tax you for store credit.
Basically, living the stay-a-home-dad & housewife lifestyle. ChemMan's suggestion of staying with your parents & not making enough is good too.

In Denmark they have taxes on everything!
but they are considered in the top 3 best places to live.
Taxes causes more money for government to help pay for our education, road construction, and other government things.
I'd be happy to pay taxes if I were you...

If for no other reason, to stay out of jail. You probably won't have to pay taxes while you're in jail as you won't earn enough to have a tax liability so I guess that's one way.

WE PAY TAXES BECAUSE OUR GOVERNMENT BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE AND OPERATES AT AND FOR THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.
IT ONLY SEEMS RIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE TO LEND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THAT WHICH THEY OWN AND CONTROL.
IF YOU BECOME A MEMBER OF THE AMISH COMMUNITY TAXES ARE NOT REQUIRED.
CAN YOU IMAGINE? IF IT WERE LEFT FOR PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER TO PAY TAXES; WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THE MANY FORGOTTEN PRIVILEGES WE ENJOY IN OUR DAY TO DAY LIVES?---HELLO MUHAMMAD!!!!!! OR MAYBE SOMETHING WORSE
