I'm trying to figure out if the amount i'll have to pay to federal taxes is correct. I'm filling as a nonresident, and at the end, the total amount of taxes sums to about 16%. Does that sounds correct?
I'm afraid I'll have to pay a lot of money, as my employee didn't withheld enough..
Thanks!

There is NO meaningful average. Your tax liability is based upon your taxable income. Without knowing ALL of the details of your tax return and financial situation there is NO way to say if that amount is correct or not.

BTW, YOU are the employee. The company you work for is your employer and THEY are the ones who withhold taxes from your pay.
