Unicorns are usually used to debunk agnosticism. It's called Russel's teapot, I believe.
People say they can't know anybody for sure, therefore they are agnostics. However, nobody in their right mind would be agnostic towards unicorns.

My guess that it is someone who is not sure if the unicorns mentioned in the bible were/are real or not.

Duh! It is either a unicorn who is undecided about the existence of a deity, or a person who considers unicorns to be deities, but isn't sure they exist. Surely you could have figured that out? Check Wikipedia. (hehehe)
