I had this crush a while ago. She didn't like me, but a few weeks back she said she did. I was going to go out with her but she said she was afraid of what other people think, but she still likes me. Now she acts kind of like we are going out, sometimes she acts like she hates me. What's up with her?

Seems to me this girl is more concerned with "image" or what others think of her than she is with you.
That is more than likely why sometimes it is cool to be with you and sometimes it is not. Have you noticed who is in the crowd when she acts each of these ways? You might want to keep your eyes open...if you see a pattern then you have a girl that only cares about her "image" and you are only good for that sometimes.
If that is the case, she is not worth your time and trouble. Drop her flat and find someone else who is into you for you...not what you can do for them.

Sit her down and tell her how you feel and why she's acting so funny. If she says she's afraid of what people will think, she's not worth the time. find someone who doesn't care about other peoples opinions.

ok first of all middle school relationships never last! trust me on that the longest one i know of is for about 1 month. so i is not worth putting your heart out there if it is not going to last. i know right now you think i will last but it just wont. sorry

She may like you but not enough to let her friends see that she likes you. She's just going to confuse you and mess with your head. You should forget about her and find a girl who isn't afraid to be seen with you in public.
