It should say the name of the party, the host's (your) name, and how old you're turning. It should also say what to bring (but don't put GIFT!), dress code if there is one, when and where, what, etc. An example of a birthday party invitation is:

______________________________________________

_____'s 14th Jacuzzi Birthday Bash
Come and party!

What: Celebration of ____'s 14th birthday
Where: 123 Your Drive, This Town
When: 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, March 22
What to bring: Swim suit for Jacuzzi
Dress code: Swimmish! [Note: If it was like a dance thing, you could put Semiformal or something among those lines.]
RSVP ____ at 123-4567 by March 20
______________________________________________

Good luck with your party! Hope I helped.
