This really go me thinking about religion.
From wikipedia:
"The rituals and mythology of Osiris and Dionysus however are strikingly like the Christian gospels: bread and wine as the body and blood, resurrection on the third day, virgin birth to a father who is a god, etc."

"It has been argued that these deities were closely related and shared many characteristics, most notably being male, partly-human, born of virgins, life-death-rebirth deities and other similar characteristics."

Keep reading, but wean yourself from the Wikipedia entries. Most ancient texts written thousands of years ago are interpreted by today's standards and morals (or lack), and not but the cultural context they were written in. Paul Romanized the Jesus movement by incorporating elements of already established traditions and religions, but who knows why?
The bible is a collection of texts written at various times by a lot of different authors who delivered their particular traditions and views of the period.
The error comes when these texts are 'collaborated' into one thought or ideology by monks, priests or TV evangelicals.

And why say Jesus is modelled on suffering of Dionysus and Osiris which are satanistic way of story and Jesus is God?

You believe on that nonsense story but you do not believe Jesus, the Son of God.

They came before Jesus.

Chris Hatfield wrote a song about it. "Born Again Pagan". I think you can find it at: http://www.musichunter.net/download/mp3/7237/chris-hatfield-born-again-pagan.php

Back on topic. Look at the Torah and the Book of the Dead.

They got Monotheism from the Egyptians. Before anyone argues, the Egyptians had a period in time where they only worshiped one God, the God of Light and the Sun, who went by many many names.

Let's not forget "Hell", named off the Norse Goddess of the Underworld "Hel". Also, the Cross was based off of the Ankh.

Very similar if not identical.

Even the pictures of older gods are indistinguishable from Jesus. The Vatican is built partly on an old Mithra temple. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Cause Dinonysus kicks @ss! I began my pagan life through devotion to Him. He is the madness, and wisdom, that can be found from over-indulgence. I didn't stick around long enough to learn much more, I got into Goddess worship after only a few years. He's about consciousness being expanded, thoughts arising from exploring non-sober states.

What puzzles me is, how did the gospel writers get away with adopting myths of Osiris and Dionysus when folks at that time knew about those myths?
Something to think about.

The devil did it, of course. That was the standard Christian answer when pagans pointed that out 2000 years ago. They still use it today, and it still doesn't make any sense.

Wiki - what if I said I wrote that section just to trip you guys up? Better watch what you read.

But playing to your question, I'd say I'm impressed that these people knew the prophecy of the Hebrew people and tried copying it. But I won't have to, it's false.

Too bad you didn't finish your quotes..."It has been argued...EVEN THOUGH THEY DON"T"

It's one thing to turn your face from God, but woe to those who try to lure others to sinful ways/thoughts. Pray for forgiveness now. Recant your blasphemy while you can.

God sees and hears all, and you can't be with God with false idols.
