What suggestions do you have for a lesbian couple that is separated by boarders?
What suggestions do you have for a lesbian couple that is separated by boarders and wants to end the distance? One of the girls is in the U.S., the other in Brazil and they are serious about each other, would even marry, but gay marriage is illegal. They don't have their rights in other words. What is your advice for getting them permanently settled together instead of them having to bounce back and forth to each other's countries for just a visit, which they have been doing? Please, no flames or jokes.

Both of you immigrate to another country, maybe to Canada.
The USA is not the friendliest to gays/lesbians, you will always be discriminated against. . . .not openly but it is there

The most common practice I have known is paying someone to marry the person outside the country and it also happens to be illegal and yet I have know several people who have done this I did like the idea of finding a gay male couple in the same boat because then you are helping each other which even Though your breaking the law we don't have the same rights in our country as hetero sexual couples yours is definitely a case for why gay people should have the right to marry... currently you can marry in Massachusetts and I don't know that they are going to keep it that long and Hawaii has never had gay marriage... even though many people seem to think it has... Canada and England have gay marriage but then you would have to relocate both of you... the only other suggestion I can make is that your girlfriend from Brazil become a nurse because the need for nurses is so great that she will be allowed to become a citizen faster then an average person... So that would be my suggestion tell her to become a nurse ;-)

i might think of you will possibly want to stay with this person for a rapid jointly as like one or 2 years in the past you're making a hasty determination. the girl from Brazil might stand a miles better danger of conserving right here in the states. Brazil has a intense unemployment value and probabilities of you getting a job their are narrow, do you talk Portuguese nicely sufficient to slot in with the Brazilian populous. and or do you have the investment to preserve your self for a pair of years if so circulate there. yet first get to renowned your better half in the past you devote.

Have the one in the US start a business and then create a job description that fits the other to a tee. Then request a work visa and then renew it as often possible.

Find an American gay who has a boyfriend in Brazil. You marry his boyfriend and he can marry yours. When they get here just swap partners.
Good luck, I hope this helps.
