Great relationships start out as great friendships! If you are not too annoyed by him then it is worth a try! It's been said that guys only continue to be friendly with girls because they think they have a chance to go out with them! So go for it! Just remember: sex ruins friendships! So don't plan as keeping him as a friend if it doesn't work out...

By what you have said, just weigh the pros and cons. If it were me, I would not. Doesn't sound like enough of an attraction to take it to the next level and why test the waters.
