I know of many natural medications;ie: Passion flower, Valerian...the list can go on. Has anyone ever used a natural medicine for SAD that has significantly helped them..which one?

SAM-e supplement, I am using it now, and it works wonderfully. I wish I had know about it a long time ago, but I take it now, and I feel so much better.

For Anxiety first aid, chew on some magnesium immediately. Carry it with you. Milk of Magnesia tablets are miraculous. So is Magnesium citrate, and So is Magnesium taurate (you get the calming benefit of the taurine), So is the Magnesium glycinate (glycine is also relaxing). The key here is Magnesium. Magnesium will stop a panic attack within minutes. Be careful, too much can cause loose stools.
There is a little product out there called Happy Camper. Just one small capsule can clear your mind and relax you.

Another great remedy is a fresh green drink. Juice some collards, spinach, Kale and some apples and grapes together. The green drink is instantly alkalizing (so are almonds) and the change in ph will have an instantaneous callming effect.
Check your gall bladder. sometimes weakness there can cause easy panic.

Anxious people are often very acid, and need some buffer like magnesium, greens, almonds or just some plain calcium hydroxide.

I have been greatly helped with my anxiety problems with
1-chi gong and deep breathing and light exercise (walking)done regularly, 1 hr daily to relax. It really works.
2-NLP Neurolinguistic programming. I listen to my inner dialogues and try to program myself to be more positive.
3-Got rid of all my friends that drain and aggravate me. Stopped meddling with other's ives and stopped all gossip.
4- spent more time pampering myself and achieving my personal goals.
5-avoided arguments and confrontations. I was a habitual argumenter and it took me years to learn that this was draining away my energies and sending me into an exhaustive panic state.
6- learning to keep my neck and shoulders relaxed, and smiling more

Good Luck!

SAD can be a result of vitamin D deficiency! You may want to get your Ds checked. There is a prescription Vita D available if yours are SUPER low but a good vita D supplement should help.

I've found "Mindtrack" (Herbal) to be helpful for anxiety. Also some flower essences like "Rescue Remedy" by Bach.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Flax seed oil capsules work quite well, no side effects.
But the problem is spiritual, so treat that aspect also.

Trade in "law worketh wrath" for "grace is sufficient".
For law is spiritual, but spiritual perversion and abuse.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
