When Noah came out of the Ark, God gave permission to humankind to eat meat.
Why?
The Bible does not clearly explain.
We'll have to trust Him on that one.
Whatever, the O.K. is there.
So, although some JW's are vegetarians, some others do eat meat.
They have permission and will probably continue to do so until that permission is revoked.
It seems best to proceed according to God's schedule, and not hurrying things along.

Jehovah's Witnesses definitely believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is all over their literature! Repeatedly! Also, they believe that Jesus is the Savior sent to earth to die for the sins of repentant mankind and that without faith in the ransom of Jesus Christ no one can be saved. They also believe that you cannot work your way to salvation, that it is a free gift; however, out of love for God and for their fellowman they devote many hours to their public preaching work. They have helped millions of people to overcome harmful habits and addictions, and given them hope for a better life now and in the future. They are united internationally by a bond of Christian love and are not divided by nationalism, racism, cultural differences, language barriers, social status or any other divisive influence in this world. Not sure why Missy and lightangellion said what they did 9 years ago, but hopefully they know better now.

Hey, arihaz,
I love a good steak! hehe....well, the reason I eat meat is because it's permitted. As long as it's well-cooked, cause I don't want food-poisoning. However, if the Bible mentioned anything about eating meat, you know we would all abstain! :)
When I think about Paradise, though, I feel the earth is going to be so abundant with everything pleasant to the taste and sight, that we won't even desire meat!

where does it say in Genesis that Adam and Eve had a vegetarian diet?
Whatever we get to eat in Paradise, JW or not, will be better than what we eat here. If it is meatless we won't mind!
(not a JW)

Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christians. Christians believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and Jehovah's Witnesses do not. So, how can they be considered Christians?? Answer that!!
