There is no simple cure for that. A goiter is caused by insufficient iodine intake. A goiter if formed from the thyroid gland being overworked because of the deficiency, which has caused the tissue to become thicker. As far as I know there is no real way to get rid of it.

You need to go see an endocrinologist in the very near future. They will want to do bloodwork for thyroid counts. There are prescribed meds that will help shrink the goiter.

just be careful cuz prolonged goiter medications can cause osteoporosis(weak and brittle bones). that's what happened to my mom
go to a doctor and replace normal salt with iodized salt if u haven't already done so

I recommend starting with an endocrinologist to get their opinion of the situation. They can help you to try and figure out how to get the swelling to go down.

You need to see a doctor, an endocrinologist.
My uncle had this and it was cancer, that was 20 years ago. They removed his thyroid.
I am not saying it is cancer, I am say it is very unwise not to see a doctor.
