People say if evolutiion was right we would see creatures half one creature and half another.

How could we possibly know that while it's happening. Did the early hominids know they were half ape-like creature, half human? Of course not-you can't see until after the fact. It takes a LONG time and many small changes to have a new species, such as an ape-like creature changing to a human. There were many partially changed creatures in between.

It's not like an ape was born, and then suddenly there was a human. If that is some people's understanding of evolution, it does not suprise me that they think evolution is false.

People believe the anti-evolution propaganda. If they ever scratch the surface of TRUE evolutionary theory, they'll be quite surprised.

If it were possible for one species, for example, a horse, to "evolve" into another species, we could expect to find transitional forms. What I'm saying is that if evolution is so slow (that's why evolutionists tell us that we can't see it), it would take thousands if not millions of years for one species to "evolve" into another. In that time, all of these gradual changes should produce the transitional forms; animals in between the two species. Well, where are they?

Evolutionists have been looking for them for over 150 years, and they ain't found 'em yet. The truth is, there are no transitional forms because evolution is a hoax.

Every species has parameters that establish the limits of its characteristics. An animal can only get so big, of so small. It can only run so fast. Through selective breeding, horses can be bred for racing, but there will never be a horse that can run 200 mph. That is beyond the species running ability.

Beef cattle can be bread for rapid growth and increased mucularity - to a point. Farmers will never produce cattle weighing 10 tons. It is beyond the animals potential.

This has been known for a long time, and yet some people believe that the parameters of variation can not only be exceeded, an entirely different species can be produced.

We cannot do this in the laboratory, but supposedly this occurs naturally. And it continues to occur and produce all the variations in species that we see, and those that are now extinct. And to top it all off, all of the transitional forms have vanished!

Common sense will tell you that this is a hoax.

Have you ever studied Anatomy and Physiology?

Knuckle-Walking to Bipedal
______________________
Restructuring of inner ear bones
Spinal cord opening relocated
Rib cage restructured
Increased spinal curvature
Body muscular system changed
Pelvis reshaped
Lower limbs altered
Enlarged joint surfaces
Restructured feet

And that is only a partial list – according to the Anatomy and Physiology construction, of a human and an ape, there are many other major differences.

You can call me ignorant or uneducated, but I would rather believe that humans are wonderfully and beautifully created a unique species, apes are a totally separate species, and the two have never been "half and half" nor did they "mate".

Evolution does not always happen in small slow steps. There are places in the fossil record where we see tremendous explosions in the diversity of species, such as the Cambrian Explosion. Such explosions can be caused by drastic changes in the environment. The Cambrian Explosion is believed to have been caused by a sudden increase in available oxygen levels in the atmosphere. Conditions were changed again with the extinction of the Dinosaurs, allowing sudden evolutionary changes.

Drastic changes in living conditions seem to spark quick and dramatic evolutionary changes. We have not had an event of that magnitude since the Dinosaurs, so any evolutionary changes have been the classical slow and small.

what is your honest research pull up. Research the leaders from both sides of the issue and make an educated decision on your own. For me, it is far easier to disprove evolution than to prove intellegent design. In his recent Time commentary, "Dorothy, It's Really Oz,"1 Stephen Jay Gould, professor of geology at Harvard and New York University, takes on the Kansas State Board of Education. In so doing, he manifests a tremendous affection for fairy tales.
First, in Gould's world of make-believe, "evolution is as well documented as any phenomenon in science" -- as well documented "as the earth's revolution around the sun." It is truly amazing that a professor living in an age of scientific enlightenment would make such a dogmatic declaration. It is equally amazing that Time would print it. While a preponderance of evidence can be adduced in support of the earth's revolution around the sun, the same cannot be said for evolution. Evolutionary biology, for example, cannot account for metaphysical realities such as Gould's ego and his ethos. Nor can evolution satisfactorily account for irreducibly complex biochemical systems apart from a designer.2 Biochemist Michael Behe explains that what happens when a photon of light hits a human eye was beyond nineteenth century science. As science has advanced, such black boxes are being opened, revealing an "unanticipated Lilliputian world" of enormous complexity that has pushed the theory of evolution beyond the breaking point.

the thought that an clever trend fashion designer directs all matters is obviously pretend as without put off as some element so ordinary as water is pronounced appearing to bypass to the backside element, as a results of actuality it particularly is, in effect, directed with the aid of way of the stress of gravity, which of course had no clever trend fashion designer once you evaluate that neither water nor gravity exhibits the factor of intelligence that a fashion fashion designer ought to choose. Evolution HAS been shown, and not in ordinary words the MINOR evolution that many priests settle for, yet SPECIES TO SPECIES has been common interior the lab, of course.

Someone asked for the evidence...the missing links. There is so much evidence out there it could sink the Titanic. A lot of the comments I read here are indicative of the poor job our schools are doing in teaching the life sciences.

BTW, evolution is a fact. The theory part is how it happens: gradualism or punctuated equilibrium. My heartfelt wish is that people who never read Darwin - or Wilson or Ridley or Gould or Sagan - would shut their piehole, rather than display their ignorance for the amusement of all.

But the problem is, no such intermediate fossils have been found. If it were truly as gradual as you say, there would have to be billions of intermediate fossils in the ground. Even the expert evolutionists say not a single one has been found. All fossils that have been discovered are either of modern animals or some extinct ones. Extinction does not prove evolution. It only proves that animals die.

Yes I do believe in evolution, but I also find it amazing that now humans are two classification sets removed from monkeys, I do not think God has any intention of making a more powerful speicies than humans

So why haven't any new creatures evolved in the last few thousand years? I'm still waiting to hear the news that some new species of animal just evolved out of the earthworm, from of the mud? Nobody has ever seen it happen, and never will, because it's not true!
