You're right, you didn't deserve a troll attack, but I do understand the source of his immature little rampage. The old "why are there still monkeys?" question shows the lack of understanding that many creationists have about evolution. Your lack of knowledge about that set off his lack of maturity and poor manners, but please don't blame that on a lack of Christian faith. Read up on why there are still monkeys around. Read it at Answers in Genesis, a site you'd trust. It's a lame argument that creationists have been warned about against using. Read it from Ken Ham, even if I don't agree with him or creationism. Do some reading of genuine evolutionary science with an open mind too while you're at it. If nothing else, you'll learn what questions to ask and not to ask.

Personally, I have nothing against you. I don't like that you think he "represents" us - I represent myself.

That being said, I'm getting a little tired of people on both sides name calling and pointing fingers and generally acting childish. It brings us all down. I know I'm guilty of it too at times, but I'm trying to stop. There are better ways for all of us to get our points across without the use of name calling and kindergarten behavior.

Well, not to be mean but you did ask a pretty dumb question. When someone ask "if we came from monkeys why are their still monkeys" they are really asking for it, even if the were being sincere and by the looks of it you were. That said that guy was really out of line, especially since he called you out like that.

well i think that is about the 50th time i have heard that question trying to denounce evolution, even my idiot physics teacher knows enough about biology to know that. i would think that we have learned soliciting and protesting with violence gets us nowhere i.e. terrorism, school shooting, and the like. non-violent opposition is the most effective form and even though its the internet that was a violent and defamatory remark which was just pointless considering you just didn't know an answer.
