$1.05 - 30g to 50g
$1.78 - up to 100g
$2.99 - 101g to 200g

It is not the NUMBER of stamps that it is required - it is the VALUE of the stamps. That will depend on the size of the letter - the weight of the letter - how you want to send it (air mail or surface) . No one can give you an accurate answer without seeing the letter - take it to your local post office where they will weigh it and then sell you the correct VALUE stamps (which may be one, two, three or even four depending on what values they have in stock) .....

I regular sized letter costs $ 0.93 to mail to the US. If it is bigger, or heavier than a typical letter size, then you will need to have it weighed and sized at the post office to find out the specific cost to mail it. Answers to any questions you may have can be found on the post office's web site at www.canadapost.ca

I have no clue, you should just go to the post office and pay the postage, that way you know how much its going to cost and you don't over pay.
