Exodus 4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. (11) And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

RIGHT HERE god brags about making blind and dumb people. Why would some of you in an earlier question deny that he plagues children with cancer? He clearly makes them blind and dumb, according to the bible.

And THEN forbids the disabled people he makes from worshiping at the altar! YAY!

Lev.21:17-23 Whosoever ... hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish...

Don't u think that's messed up?

"a none beliver will never understand the bible. They only see what they want. If you want to see harsh things. That is what you will find."

i see. so, you have to be indoctrinated into the belief system, etc, (read: brainwashed) before the bible makes any sense. I see. wow. that's deep. the words make no sense to you unless you're a believer.

so, i guess, none of the other cult books of the world are understandable to xians, because they don't believe in those books -- funny, though, how they criticize them all the time....

Do you mean Christians? Because "xians" are space aliens.

God is not "bragging" in your quote from Exodus. God is making a point to Moses that is is all powerful. As such Moses should trust in him.

Leviticus does not forbid the lame to worship God. Leviticus is instruction for the Levite Priests. Someone who is blind can't put incense in. They'd either get burned or dump incense on the floor.

The same with someone who didn't have the use of both legs or both arms. They couldn't properly SERVE at the altar. That doesn't mean they don't worship.

You see, the Levites served the Holy of Holies. The Ark of the Covenant. Big stuff. Not for someone handicapped.

Yes, God has been inflicting disease on people, but Satan has also been doing his part in inflicting illnesses. I think Satan's reasons are different from Gods. Most of the time, God allows disease, not being the cause of it, but also not stopping it. Sometimes He heals miraculously, other times He uses someones illness for the greater good. I have a friend who's suffered from bone cancer for years. She is now 20, has one leg missing and part of her pelvis. While in remission or when she was feeling better, she volunteered her time and is now working full time at a Children's Hospital for Kids with Cancer. Her face glows with the joy she has of being a Christian. She never complains but just loves others so much. She says that without this disease she would never have done the wonderful things and met so many great people. To God, and to the believer, this earthly life is only temporary. He cares where we go after we leave here.

God is not bragging you are looking at it with a predisposed idea.

If you look at it as it is written you will see Moses saying I can not do this because of my handicap. God turns around and says I am in charge of everything I can use you no matter what.

Lev. Tell us the requirements of a Priest and the requirement of dwelling in the temple symbolizing the perfection that is required to enter into heaven.

You will read future of the offering of a HEALED leper.

God is ultimately in charge of everything.
Some things by permissive will
Some by direct intervention.
