He is YOUR guest? Then yes.

Does he go to your school? If so he should buy his own. If he is a guest from another school then you should pay for his ticket out of good faith, but you can talk to him about helping out with the limo and dinner.

I think if your going as like friends, not a 'proper' date as such, then split the expenses. He should defiantely pay for his ticket, but as for the limo/dinner etc if you both like each other alot, I think you need to talk and decide, although the guy usually pays ;) Have fun!

In this case, he should pay, since he asked to go. Next time you talk to him, remind him how much the tickets are and when the money is due. It's okay for you to pay for your own part but don't be expected to pay for everything. If anything, split the expenses with him.

This one is tricky! I'd suggest that if you can afford it, why not pay? You did end up asking him...He may have suggested it because he couldn't afford to ask you and pay for yours. If you're hoping for a relationship in the future with him, it would be a cool gesture from you. He may offer to repay you for his ticket, then you could accept it. Otherwise, why make him feel ashamed if he cannot pay by asking him to?

well if you're not really sure, it might be best to talk it out with him as akward as that may seem - that way theres no confusion - especially if you're going as a couple and not just as friends who pay for each seperatly
