Does hair dye kill head lice?

I don't think hair dye is strong enough to kill lice. If you have head lice you should get a kit from walmart.

Hell no, the best thing for lice is the shampoo, unfortunately I can't remember what the products name was. and you still have to comb the lice and pick off the tiny see through eggs on the hair. Or shaving the hair is another option.

if you have lice here are some suggestions:
1. pour cleaning alchohol on your head
2. put hair in a ponytail
3. buy actual lice shampoo
4. seperate your combs and brushes in a ziploc
5. use a comb to brush it all out
6. only wash your hair with lice shampoo because lice lovesss clean hair and the lice shampoo will remove it while the other shampoos won't

Are you kidding me? If you have lice you should go and buy some lice shampoo and not hair dye!

you should get nix and shampoo in hair...color may just give the active lice a nice color to them...nix is the best thing and you may have to use a couple of times...make sure everything in your house is cleaned...sheets..and all washable in hot water...also buy R&C spray to get all the unwashables....get treated asap....

Yes it does but it does not kill all the eggs sometime so i would suggest some kind of comb
