Big Brother is out there and is only going to get worse....
Personally I am all in favour in terms of catching people committing ugly crimes.....but when it is speeding on a deserted road.....or worse still being cold called because group e-mail lists are available.....or receiving junk mail because you once walked into a shop...then u do just think that there is no way out to the predicament we all find ourselves in....
Society has pre-ordained rules...all 3 main political parties have not got the guts to stand up outside of these rules and generally people are conformists.....we all have extreme views but people also want the nice house, good job, disposable income, family...etc and therefore most people will conform to get them whatever are their real views....
It is worrying....but there again I think the overall standard of living for people has risen many times from say 100 years ago.....so maybe we can count ourselves lucky for small mercies....

Society is us, and not two as one might like to see. The displacement that enables us to observe our environment is caused by the same reflective thoughts that enable us to see ourselves. And since we are able to collate information from a wider range of sources, we can find what is the best in our environment, and then we try to reinforce that causing all the development in ourselves, or in other words in our environment.
Long as we restrict our horizons only to what we see, we fail to see what we could otherwise see. The fact that we are able to constantly compare, for example, 'our culture' against 'theirs', has little impact in diverting us from entering into a highly mechanised society alluded in your question. It is possible the structure we have shape into existence will come to shape us in return. We might end up entering into a prison of our own making as this has happened countless times. The pages of history are full of instances; every time a structure or a social system becomes over develops, it becomes rigid and austere, and every time this happens human nature rebels to let temporary disorder and chaos in for yet another start with possibly a clean slate.
For the good of mankind not merely rational or even creative thoughts would suffice, but thoughts that enabling us into fullest capability of the experience and expression of our being, without losing meaningfulness at any level of our consciousness; religion, for example, in its philosophy aims to do just that. Thoughts even most creative in their nature require proper social and cultural context. But the attempts have been made to break free, there for example has been surrealist movement in painting, aiming to experience what is normally physically impossible. The thoughts that can enable us to transcend into ultra physical dimensions of our being.

that's how I see it. Society has to structure human beings to be effective entities and subsequently regulate production for its contributors to live on. it truly is it truly is major function. effective entities are the end results of society shaping human beings, PEs do not ***** about society or pricey to imagine previous what their ecosystem advised them to. in addition they reduce their imagine, religious conduct and existence to what society would not forbid. This has a meaning, there must be human beings following an same guidelines and questioning an same way for the society to paintings. maximum of folk are the end results of the social aspects that made them Ex their kinfolk, their social classification, their practise and others. the end result (the fellow or "social entity") in maximum of cases acts as those aspects taught it. it truly is a rule, a serial killer is a serial killer because of ways society manage it, how are you going to blame a baby of ways he's treated by his/her ecosystem? properly, it truly is his/her ecosystem (society: his terrible kinfolk, and traumas brought about by the social aspects) that has effects on this man or woman to the point of creating him a serial killer. Now, there have those that withstand to this impression, we call them geniuses, amazing and also we call them masters, they have surpass their obstacles imposed by the social aspects. Regardless some had the ambience of a serial killer or the favourite nameless guy who stay a existence no human being will ever endure in options, they managed to study and intellectually innovate or develop their religious high quality above the media, they managed to bypass adversarial to the contemporary. like the Buddha, Albert Einstein or Pablo Picasso. it truly is in basic terms a count number number of going adversarial to the contemporary, that'd be going adversarial to society. it isn't uncomplicated because this issues are contemporary on the television on existence on each little thing, despite the indisputable fact that it truly is a undeniable truth that society can structure maximum of folk into effective entities yet every person can scape from it.
