I've gained 20 lbs. in the last year because I started working a desk job. I used to be a size 3 but now I'm a size 8 (I miss my clothes!). I want to lose the weight relatively quickly because I'm getting married, and I need to try on wedding dresses within a few months. I'd like to get down to 100 lbs. again (I'm 5' tall). I started a diet this week. Here is what I ate today:

9 am - Sandwich bag of oats and honey cereal; two bites of caramel rice cake

1: 30 pm - Turkey sandwich on wheat bread with mustard; baked Lay's; three bites of apple

5:30 pm - Orange

6:30 pm - Pizza lean pocket

Exercise

6 pm - 200 jump ropes; 100 sit-ups

I had only water to drink.

Will I lose weight like this? Should I do more exercises?

Sounds good, but you need some vegetables. If you don't like to eat them, at least drink them. They make alot of difference. Drink about 10 glasses a water a day. It might send you to the restroom alot, but it works. Also limit your bread intake. 2 slices a day of any bread is good enough.

Hi

I specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and healthily and i myself lost 15kg within 2 months via a detox.

I have also helped people lose a total of 500kg in the past few years via detox.

Replace your breakfast with fruits. Skip the white bread OR the turkey and keep to either carbo or protein and not both together.

Pizzas are not really healthy and not good for weight loss due to the carbo content and the cheese. Replace dinner with soups and salads.

Or you could try a detox like me ;)

A detox is healthy because it brings balance back to your body and losing weight is just a by product of the detox. So at the end of the detox, you will find yourself get more energetic, healthier, more radiant looking as well.

And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

That is very good. The only things I would change about it are this. You need more veggies in your diet. Instead of a pizza lean pocket, I would be having baked chicken with asperagus. Or stuffed bell peppers.

And to lose weight you should do about 1 hour of cardio a day. I'm not sure how long it took you to jump rope and do the situps (great exercises) but I would add to that a lil just to include more of a full body exercise. Some lunges, squats, and arm exercises.

But it sounds great. Good luck!

Firstly I think you should be eating more as weird as they may sound... people who diet by not eating much tend to have their body enter 'starvation mode', so by eating regularly and not skipping breakfast you kick start your metablosim and keep your blood sugars running at an average rate so you dont end up binge eating or your body doesnt panic and store food as fat (because it'll think that there isnt any around!) which will make you put on weight.
work out what your BMR is, how many calories you should be having a day and then minus 500cal so you lose weight steadily, healthily and safely-losing 1-2lb/wk means you dont starve yourself and end up binge eating, you lose fat NOT muscle (muscle burns more fat so you need muscle in order to lose weight) and it's something you can adapt long term

YOU CAN NOT LOSE FAT/WEIGHT FAST HEALTHILY! it is a steady, slow process and you need to be patient.

I've lost 22KG in 2 years despite not dieting, just by being healthier and exercising, over the past 2 months I lost 8-10LB by eating 1500 cals per day and exercising (cardio, fat burning and resistence) 4-6 times /week, 1-2 hrs a session.
Breakfast 3-500 cal
snack 100 cal
lunch 4-500 cal
snack 100 cal
dinner 5-600 cal
if i have 300 b/f, 500 lunch, 500 din=200 for snacks etc, you can vary what you use but averagely, have 1500/day.

do fast paced walking/jog - etc for fat burning (you can research this) and build muscle by toning up your body, your not building mass but creating muscle which is a fat burning monster! ;)

I KNOW this works, it's just sticking to it and making it happen, be patient, eat for fuel and use the world as your gym!...oh, and drink plenty of water :P

good luck, let us know how you do!

I used to weigh 357lbs, now I weigh 193. How did I do it?

There is a dietary supplement which addresses your specific concern, it worked for me! It's called "RELACORE", besides being a great weight loss supplement it kicks belly fat butt, if you catch my drift! It also gives you a SERIOUS pre workout BOOST! Also, besides a every other day weight training schedule, ride a recumbent bike for at least an hour. You will be pleased with your results I PROMISE! Now, losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

As for exercise, start off on a recumbent bike and go at a low Resistance for 15 minutes a day, increase by 5 minutes a week and by the time you're up to half an hour, if you also follow the above advice you'll have lost 35 plus pounds and you'll suddenly have the motivation you need to lose the rest, plus you're abs will start to get that coveted "6pack" look.!

with that you will probably lose some weight but a good thing to do is to keep eating healthy and exercise but you can also sit in a sauna for about 30-45 minutes and the weight will literally melt off of you
