Currently as we see the greatest generation come to an end and the Baby Boomers have the say in our Government

President Bush no matter how many think he is a nutjob or a Kool-Aid drinker he is a Man of GOd who makes mistakes but does love the Lord.

Do you think the Gen Xer's will be a people of faith when they are running our country...?

I think the population is becoming more polarized. I think the people of faith in generation X will put the older generation to shame with how strong they are for God.

Likewise I think the evil darkside of society will grow even more evil and defiant of God.

Yes, Gen Xer's & Gen Internet will bring God with them, and many more will be returning in masses to God within the next two decades.

When I returned to the Church (I took the Prodigal Daughter tour) I was very surprised to see so many young ppl. I've been told by most with whom I get to know that they're generation John Paul II. Most have stories about seeing JPII at one of his "World Youth Day's" (even I have such stories) and most are devout to their faith. I would have never guessed when I was on my 'Prodigal Daughter tour' but, ah, now I'm jealous that I missed out on so much for a stupid life style that only made me cry.

My favorite Priest transfered to a college campus and when I went to visit him ... he had the place packed. I guess many don't find the "Prodigal" tour as appealing as they once did.

My baby sister (little miss goody too-shoes) grew up in a culture like the movie "Saved" (Mandy Moore & Mucolly Culkin). For a while there she was going to christain trance clubs ( which scared me at the time ). Add to that in Texas, is huge in Religious Baptist Schools.

"Seek and you shall find" ... and I found mine TBTG.

I agree with you about President Bush, and I don't really know if our generation will be God fearing(respecting, loving too). I hope, but kind of doubt that we will be that fortunate. But there is hope due to colleges such as Patrick Henry in Virginia, where they are teaching young men and women to run everything political and spiritually correct. It is an incredible college that I am very grateful for.

We are in the LAST generation. The fig tree generation that started in 1948. (Jer 24). Thats why we were told to "learn the parable of the Fig tree".

Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

All people claim to love god, but loving God lives in hearts and his LIGHT in our hearts make us LOVE HIM.
It doesnt depend what religion you belong to, religions were all created by different prophets sent by God.

There is going to be no next generation, this is the last generation.
The world is going to end soon, for the MESSIAH is here.

Look at the youth, from what I see the world will have less faith and less education. Drugs, sex, crime, they are all going up, the next generation is nothing good to look forward to.

I sure hope not. If we can improve our education system, we will not have a generation of faith-based thinkers.
