how to pierce your tounge?

i need to knw how to find the veins in your tounge and whats the best way to do it i already got all the stuff that is needed to do it so i just need some advice on how to find and best place to pierce it at

Not only is there a main vein in your tongue, there is also a nerve in your tongue that controls the movement of your tongue. If you hit that nerve, you no longer have the use of your tongue. Wouldn't it just be smarter to go to a professional piercer than take the chance of hitting the vein or the nerve? Please think about that instead of doing something potentially stupid!!

Okay well I agree with all the people who have already answered that it is really dangerous and shouldn't be attempted!
But if you're stupid enough to do it, There is a main vein running through the very middle of your tongue but towards the bottom. Professionals always pierce it on a slant to avoid it, But even professionals can hit it and I'm telling you, IT BLEEDS A LOT!
I think the main nerve runs the same path as the vein, So good luck trying not to hit both!

I was just like you when I was 13 and wanted to do it by myself!!! But don't do it. Seriously! I tried to do it so many times by myself and I couldn't get it all the way to the top!(and believe me i have balls!) First of all you have to pierce from the bottom to the top. They are major veins in your tongue that can mess your speech for life. Its impossible to do it by yourself (DONT LET SOMEONE DO IT IF THEY NEVER DONE IT BEFORE!) because you might peirce it side ways and when you do get it thru it'll be difficult to put the barbell in and you'll peirce another hole by accident. Don't be cheap just pay for a professional to do your piercing. It'll hurt alot LESS trust me!

piercing your tongue without professional help is risky. 1st, your tongue one of the organs with lots of little veins and it could be very bloody when u make a mistake. and 2nd, your equipments may not be that properly sterilized & u can get infection.
believe me, ive done that w/ a friend (who happens to do some piercing although she's not a professional) & the result was awful.
i suggest u go to a tattoo or piecing shop and get it done.

what you want to do is extremely dangerous. And I am assuming you already know that. Do the smart thing and go to a piercing and tattoo shop. They are licensed and they know these things. Would you rather pay the $50 to get the tongue pierced or would you rather hit the vein in your tongue and bleed to death?

.you need to have a licenced professional do it. what you are talking about doing is extremely dangerous. There was a young girl who died about a month ago from letting a friend pierce her belly button.it got infected and she got blood poisoning. The infection went to her heart and killed her.she died two or three days after piercing.The tongue is more dangerous than the belly button ,I would say.or just the same.so don't do it .
