there is no easy way i am afraid sarah-regular warm-ups and stretching plus regular intakes of cod-liver oil can help. it also takes a lot of patience-you will do more damage overstretching than anything else-just when you think you are getting nowhere you will see some improvement. also be careful not to "bounce" in the stretch taking care to stretch slowly-get a partner to apply gentle pressure to the area being stretched to the point where it feels uncomfortable then push against the person helping you for ten seconds-then relax. and once again-a full warm-up is essential before every stretch if injury is to be avoided.

Just continue doing your routine split poses, 30 minutes daily!
Its not impossible to gain flexibility, keep that in mind, I couldn't open my legs more than 45 degrees, now i can split almost to 180!

There are some machinery used for making the splits easier, if you search in AWMA's (Asian World of Martial Arts) catalogue or webpage you may find it.

If you have brothers/sisters/friends willing to help, there are some exercises that help a lot but are painfull, lay on your back open up your legs and let her/him push your legs down to the floor.

If you need more help don't hesitate to ask me

Flexibility without strength in ballet is useless. There are girls who can do splits but cannot hold their leg up in a developpe because of lack of strength. Doing splits is a byproduct of ballet training it isn't the goal. You don't see dancers doing splits in the ballet as a rule. Doing a split alone doesn't give you a high penche. Ballet training takes time and there is no short cuts to that. You must put in the work in class. Perhaps up the amount of ballet classes you take. Stretching is good if done correctly, but don't expect major changes in only 2 months. You also have to deal with your body limitations what ever they are. I suggest you add either pilates or yoga to your regime. That will help you in ballet by increasing flexibly and strength and give you nice elongated muscle that dancers need.

Take a 15-30 minute jog before stretching. It makes the stretch more effective.
