You will need a PC which has a CD-RW drive (Compact Disc Re-Write) which will either support CD+ CD- or both (you can look at the CD drive to check this.
Then you need to get hold of some blank CDs which support the format of your drive, either + or - If your drive supports both then it doesn't matter.
Thirdly, you need software on your PC to write onto the disc. I recommend using Windows Media Player 11, you can get this for free if you don't have it already by googling WMP11.
Then it is simply a case of putting a blank disc in, opening WMP, selecting 'Burn' at the top, and dragging your file into the area on the right. WMP11 will find the blank disc, click on burn and you will have your file on disc!

I have two burners - a Dell and a Samsung.
Both require that in order to use a CD like a floppy, you must use CD/RWs and the CD must first be formatted with the software powering the burner.
I used to use CD/RWs for backups until flashdrives became available, now I just use flashdrives. They hold more, no setup required, easily transportable, and way down in price.

You need to save it to your hard disk first, then use CD burning software to burn it to a CD.

Save it to your computer first, then burn it onto a CD, if you have a CD burner.

you have to first save it to your desktop, then right click on it and click on send to... it should have a place there for you to click on send to your D drive, but you should make sure before you right click on the icon, you have a blank disc in the drive...
