Many rude and ignorant people are here and I have studied a lot of the questions and answers on this matter. I want to know truthfully why? Why do you hide behind your computer and make these rude remarks and constatly put a bad name upon the Martial Arts. Perhaps you're not Martial Artists and just went to this forum to have fun and make jokes. You need to know that if you have no buisness within the Martial Arts you do not need to try to be apart with it. I'm quite confident if you weren't on your computer and face to face with someone you wouldn't act this way. I will accept any answer, even your rude answers because its still your decision if you want to do good or beat up your life.

The answers I have seen have been like people arguing over which martial art is the best. It is a battle that has been going on for a long time but can't people accept that all martial arts are just perfect for combat? Others have been straight out rude like people cusing and even making racial remarks. I'm soon going to leave this forum because if this isn't handled there may be another Bushido. I love all who support me and even those who may make rude remarks, I will gladly accept your answers because every event in life, big or small, bad or good, changes your thoughts and feelings about many things so I will still accept many more answers.

Finally, someone who sees a lot of these people as I do. Now I am not one to judge, but I will form an opinion. I am a MA insrtuctor. I am highly devoted to the MA's. I love every aspect of it. What I think it is with most of these people, is that they are 'ignorant' of the martial arts. By that I mean I do not think they fully understand the concepts, ideas and beliefs behind the martial arts. That is why some ?'s I wont answer due to the ? And some I will answer due to the responses of the answers. Like if people give really dry hmor to it, then i usually will answer it with a serious reply, just so the person who asked it will know there is someone out there who is actually willing and wanting to help. But those are my thoughts on it. But your right, this area should be respected as someone would respect an actual martial art or in a MA school.

My answers will seem to rude to some people, mainly Bodler in his San Soo questions....but that's another story altogether.

I will answer the same way on here or in real life. Be it rude or nice. I'm more or less a straight forward person, which comes off as rude sometimes.

When I see somebody say "my art is the best" and there is no "for me" after that, I tend to want to say to them, "no one art is better than the other, get over it". I do not think my art is any better than the other persons and its the other person's attitude I am confronting rather than their art.

Isn't it arrogance when you think you can answer that sort of question?
I do not think its arrogance for me to respond to the statement or question of "I think my art is better than this art because......" I am not responding to say that my art is better, but to just point out that their art isn't better than any other's art and they need to perhaps take a class or two in the art they are putting down. I would not presume to put down any art, I've only been doing this for 6 yrs total. Even if I had 50 yrs experience, I would still not presume to think my style is better than anybody else's.

But I have wondered how many people on here are just pretending to be martial artists.

I believe the theory that people use the Internet as a mask to hide their face. They can say what they want because they are safely tucked away in their homes. I also feel that there are artists out there who truly believe there art is the best or certain other arts are inferior.
Artists should go to tournaments, MMA events and other schools. They may need to do this to open their horizons on what they feel is effective.

True artists have learned respect, they also know that the quality and frequency of their own training far outweighs the style they train in.

I think in a lot of cases this is caused by teachers trying to promote their style. Because martial arts schools are being run like businesses many schools sell themselves as the best thing since sliced bread and even resort to bad mouthing other styles and teachers to their students to keep them from looking elsewhere.

Really it all seems to be a load of crap to me, the person that rejects all but what they know is usually a pretty 1 dimentinal fighter at the end of the day.

There are several phenomena here. 1 is that many (most?) of those posting here are not martial artists, just MMA fans who know little about true Martial Arts. another is that there are many unqualified instructors who are more thug than Martial Artist who pass their mindset to their students. There are probably some other reasons as well.

Hood_12 said it best one day when he told me there are too many "keyboard warriors" on here. Anybody can come on here and act like Bruce Lee's replacement. You can pick them out if you go back through their answers and read what they put down. If you don't have to actually confront another person, suddenly you are ten feet tall and bulletproof. It's a shame when real and committed martial artists have to put up with this crap. It's nice to actually have an honest answer to a posted question instead of garbage.

Respect to you! I agree. I think it's mainly people who have just started doing some sort of martial art and have not yet learnt to be humble and have not realised how dangerous it can be. But they will learn as we all did.

Respect to all martial arts as they have all contributed to something in one way or another. And thanks for all those that have asked even the simplest of questions, for knowledge or simple debate (not fighting) and those that have answered sincerely.

You live in a country where people always act civil. They don't try to deceive others because that is just not acceptable, so this may be difficult for you to grasp.

There are some who make it a sport to take on the persona of someone they are not in order to try to make others appear foolish. They delight in being deceptive. It is what they live for and it is what "floats their boat".

We, therefore, who do not live in your country and are not of your culture handle these things a bit differently than you may be accustomed to, but that does not make it rude or ignorant as you judge it to be, it is only different from what you are accustomed.

Perhaps one day you will understand that China is not the world. There are a lot of other countries and cultures on the earth and people react differently when provoked. In the USA we have the freedom to speak out and we exercise that freedom often. We also have the obligation to confront people when they try to take advantage of others. Here that is called "caring". If one cares about others one does not allow them to be taken advantage of.

You can call that rude and ignorant if you wish....here that is your right.

Thank you for making my point for me. I did not have to attack you in order to expose you as a fraud, you did it yourself and you are even gleeful to be a fraud. What is it that makes you hide behind a fake front and toss out lies to try to provoke others? You should be ashamed, but I am sure you aren't.

Again, thanks for making my point.
