Do I just say something nice about the bride and groom? How long should it be? (like less than a minute?) I feel really fake doing this and I hardly know my brother's fiance. Should I just say the positive qualities of both people? I don't want to sound cliche.

It's better to sound cliche then try and be original and bomb in public. you could actually do a search on the net and get some stock wedding toast jokes. The simpler the better, and people will laugh at something simple like "I'm not sure how this bum conned this Goddess into marrying him, but I'm so happy my brother found a woman to make him happy" or something. Remember your toast is to enhance the moment for them, not get yourself over as the funniest guy ever. It's their day, your toast is to just help their day be even better. so short and sweet and under a minute would be good. I'm not just talking out of my **** I've emceed weddings before.

First thing you should do is stand up and put a big smile on. A wedding toast should be like 2-3 minutes long soo people doesn't get bored or confused because its too fast. You should say how they fit together and what you felt(nothing too harsh or rude, only positive things). Basically just make a nice and positive toast.and it should sound sincere, so it doesn't sound like you're faking it. good luck ;)

Welcome her to the family. Tell some goofy story about when your brother was a kid, keep it clean. Say he rmarried up. Keep it really short. Don't drink too much before the toast. Just have fun.

the suitable guy is meant to point a toast to the recent Bride and Groom, no longer the mothers and dads. they are there to cherish the 2nd. if it incredibly is in ordinary terms the two one in all then you definitely it ought to be one in all your mothers and dads i think or does the groom have a brother that ought to step in and try this? good success.
