If I jump rope for 20 minutes a day, is that considered good aerobic exercise?

Also, should I weight lift 3 sets of 10 or 5 sets of 10 daily?

I'm a 16 year old female, 5'5, 145 lbs, trying to lose weight.
Check out my other questions for my complete work-out plan.

Jumping roping is great because it allows you to move your body and burn calories. Keep it up, I have heard this is a great workout.

Do 3 sets of 10. It's best to start off small...and work your way up!

Jumping rope is an excellent cardio workout...why do you think boxers train so much with the rope. It's also great for hand eye coordination, footwork, and leg/calf muscles and your butt. Keep doing that with your weight training and you'll be cut in no time.

Eddie is erroneous, Rona is powerful. this is a 2-area equation... as quickly as we "weight loss plan" via reducing caloric intake, our bodies frequently obligingly respond via reducing our metabolism. is going into "starvation mode".... consistent workout artificially will enhance the metabolism, frequently for hours after the relatively workout consultation. My basically criticism with rope skipping is that this.... it is not an extremely nicely-balanced workout. Boxers used to like it because of the fact it promotes reliable footwork. in spite of the undeniable fact that, it does not relatively use a super number of your musculature.. no longer something interior the better physique, and oftentimes the calves to this point as your legs bypass. IMO... this is an remarkable heat-up. you will be doing a mix of cardio workout and additionally power-construction, weight-bearing artwork for larger-physique power and bone well-being.
