That is, if God was real, which he isn't.

juhsayngul: It's not flawed. People here say God can't kill himself. They also say Jesus is God. The bible says Jesus died. They can't all coexist. What's faulty about that logic?

God made the killing happen so he would be killing himself. In any event, if you don't buy that God killed himself, you have to buy that humans can kill God, which is worse.

Not true. Jesus was fully human just as He is fully God, His death was a physical death, not a spiritual death. A saved Christian suffers the physical death, but has eternal life in a similar manner.
Oh, and God didn't kill Himself. Sinful men did, and Jesus was resurrected.
And sorry to burst your bubble, but God is real.

I understand that a non-believer would have trouble understanding the Trinity. God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit all being one but separate. Think of it this way. You have water which you have as a liquid, you can freeze it and it becomes ice or you can boil it and it becomes steam. How God manages to be all three and at the same time be separate, is His business. It is my business to believe, if I so choose, and I do. Its called faith.

Jesus was the Son of God, there are three persons in one God, God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit. This is called the Holy Trinity. Take a three leaf clover and study it, you will see three leaves branching off one stem! the Holy Trinity is like this!

Jesus was mortal at the time and thus subject to death just as we are. However, He also had the qualities of deity from His Father making Him able to overcome death and thus effectuate the resurrection. The spirit never died, just the body. God, the Father, allowed His Son to be sacrificed to bring to pass the atonement for all mankind. It was part of the eternal plan and Jesus, the Christ, was the chosen one to carry out that plan with His mortal sacrifice and subsequent resurrection.

God became a human man - Jesus - and lived a sinless life, yet was willingly sacrificed to pay for our sins. The human man Jesus was crucified and died, then after three days was raised from the dead.

That makes sense, which gives credit to the islamic claim taht the crucifixion never happened. I also have to say that if God was Jesus's father and he let him die such a horrible and painful death, then he (God) would there fore be a terrible father. And anybody who argues that it was necessary to spill holy blood in order to "forgive our sins" then you might as well kill a priest every time you chew out an athiest or anybody else who's beliefs you dont agree with. and then you can go live with the Aztecs.

God is spirit. Jesus is God, but became flesh. Yes Jesus the human died on the cross, and resurrected bodily

Jesus is the god-man. he came to earth to offer the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. jesus the man, died on the cross. jesus the god, lives forever.
but in essence, part of what you said is correct. jesus was still god while he walked on this earth as a man, and we killed our god, we commited deity-cide when we hung him upon that cross.
but being god, jesus overcame that human, physical death, because he is not of this world.
i know you refuse to believe any of this, but hopefully someday you'll feel god pulling you back to him and you will turn your life around and be saved.

OK, you redeemed yourself with that last blurb....
Well, Ive always been under the impression that three measy days of death for an eternal being is HARDLY a sacrifice anyway.... And, seeing as he was dead on Friday and risen by Sunday, it was really only a day and a half - which is even LESS of a sacrifice...

Jesus ISN'T GOD, GOD created JESUS through Joseph and Mary. Jesus died, and was supposedly resurrected. And I don't agree with the bible anyways
