Yes, they are expecting it to be back on shelves in summer.
The PB was contaminated with a rare strain of Salmonella called Salmonella tennessee. The source was from a leaky ceiling in the factory. They are repairing the ceiling, and once it's done, the factory should be back in production.
But y'know, Peter Pan is kinda bland. Ever tried organic peanut butter, the kind with the oil on top? That's good stuff. But make sure it is NOT made from raw panuts. Peanut butter needs to be made from hot roasted peanuts, or it can be even MORE prone to contamination than products like Peter Pan. Anyway, the frou-frou PB makes the best cookies EVER. Or you can try other nut butters. I like almond and macadamia nut. More expensive, but tastes so good it's worth it!

Have you ever tried fresh peanut butter?..it kicks all of those peanut butters out.
