losing the weight and being pregnant and losing the weight. I guess what I am asking is, is it harder to lose pregnancy weight or is that just a myth.

Nope. The reasons its considered harder are these
-you are exhausted. you can't sleep through the night so therefore when you have a moment you nap rather than workout.

-women lose weight slower than men. so pregnancy, which only affects women, is harder weight to lose than say the same 30 lbs on a man.

Weight is weight and equally hard to lose.

It is not harder to lose pregnancy weight. It just seems harder because you put on more weight because of the extra food. All you have to do is exercise like how you normally would but just put a little more strength in it.

Unfortunately, and this is something that the diet people really take advantage of, the female body changes shape after childbirth. They get bigger, and it's almost impossible to change back. The more children you have, the bigger you get. When a woman has had children, she then no longer conforms to the accepted ideal stereotype female shape, and is made to feel very insecure about it. This is very harmful to females because, although they are made to feel unattractive, which is very damaging to women in general, it is simply not true that they are no longer attractive; men are attracted to women of all shapes and sizes. Most women, who've had children, become rather large in size, and they spend the rest of their lives trying to remove that weight. Unfortunately, as you can see on any street, most fail. So it does appear to be harder to lose the post pregnancy weight. This also is not something to concern yourself about, males are biologically designed to be attracted to bigger women as they get older, so it all fits nicely. You really have nothing to worry about, once again, like most people, you have been misinformed by the media.
