There are some old books that state that saying the Lord's Prayer backwards is a way to renounce Christianity. Some people do it as a ritualized way of turning their back on Christianity, but most people don't bother. Once, I even saw the backwards Lord's Prayer printed out phonetically, just in case it was too difficult for the reader (in this case they were really reading it backwards, by individual letters, and not by whole words).

Some Satanists posited this was one of the most unholy things you could do and that it represented an absolute act of rebellion against the Lord, since the Lord's Prayer is said in the Gospels to be the most perfect prayer in the world.
It is a childish waste of time and energy if you ask me. So you're saying it backwards. Big deal.
