just there was a few months ago?
I am writing about the different denominations that go by the Holy Bible. Is comunicating these questions & answers helping us come to agreement & unity in the Christian Faith?
I find that I am agreeing with some Catholic answers & some (few) Jehovah Witness answers. So, I believe there are Christians born of God in these religions. Also, the 7th day Adventist have some things in it I agree with.
I am not writing about the religions that deny the redemption power of the cross or the power of the Holy Ghost. Though Jehovah Witnesses do in some of their teachings.

ashtung, Don't you think it really doesn't matter if Jesus was hung on a cross or a stake? It is was written that He became a curse for us, for it is written that cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He overcame this curse for us. Even though He hung on a tree to death, he raised from the dead, because He was without sin in His humanity.

I agree that we all should be united.
It is not a matter of which religion you agree with. It is a matter of which religion agrees with the Bible. That is what most of the disagreements are based on. Too many of the denominations are following man instead of Christ.

It would be a mistake to suggest that Jehovah's Witnesses do not recognize the full meaning of Christ's torture stake, or the enormous power of the holy spirit.
(Matthew 16:24) Then Jesus said to his disciples: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and continually follow me.
In fact, regarding "the cross", Jehovah's Witnesses are remarkable only in that they do not venerate the object of Christ's impalement, and they believe it likely that it was a simple upright stake rather than a device of two intersecting beams.

Very interesting, What we need to remember is that Jesus loves all people - but He hates sin. God judges the world through His only Son Jesus Christ. To be a Christian, your spirit must be BORN AGAIN
Lies and deception are sins. Satan is the father of all lies and he is very clever and he knows the Bible perfectly. He will come up with subtle ways to turn people away from the power of God.
Let me ask you a question. Remember that satan knows the bible perfectly. If satan created a cult where 95% of the information was exactly true but the most important 5% were total lies and deception, would you be interested in joining the cult. Would you even be interested in hearing the doctrines of the cult knowing that the cult is from satan.
It is unfortunate that some people are being deceived by satan through cults.
The 100% truth is that JESUS CHRIST IS GOD. The 100% truth is that we are ALL sinners. All sin comes from satan and seperates us from God. Until we are joined again with God we are under the control of satan. The only way to be connected with God is to receive the Holy Ghost into your spirit. God came down IN THE FLESH and NEVER sinned. He was then beaten beyond recognition, spat upon, whipped and crucified for no reason. He died for our filthy sins to be taken away. We are all sinners. And HE IS THE ONLY WAY to the FATHER.
The only way to be connected with God the Father again is to REPENT of our sins and ask Jesus (who is God) to take away ours sins. ONLY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS can cleanse us of our sins.
"For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosover believerth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" - (John 3:16)
When you ask Him to take away all your sins then by faith you will receive the Holy Ghost which is the Spirit of God. He will live in your spirit and God will recognise you as one of His children. Receiving the Holy Ghost happens when you are BORN AGAIN. John 3:3.
Stay away from cults and cult doctrine. The only truth is in THE BIBLE - NOWHERE ELSE. When you receive the Spirit of Jesus into your spirit, God will guide you to what the truth is, but you first must ask Him to forgive your sins. You must REPENT.
Only Jesus can forgive your sins. And ONLY those who have asked Jesus to take away their sins are Gods children. The children of God are those who have had their spirits BORN AGAIN. (Born twice, die once)
Jesus Loves You, REPENT of your sins and be Saved.

There is more. There will continue to be confusion because that is what the devil wants. Say you are King. You say to your subjects, "This is what I want and I want it at 3 o'clock sharp tomorrow!" Now 3 tomorrow arrives and only one subject shows up on time with what you ordered. How do you react? How do you feel? You go to all the trouble to spell out exactly what they were to do and only one person has listened and obeyed.

Yes. I think we are starting to love one another and act more like Christ. These are just different worship styles. God knows our hearts, and He is the just judge. : )

Hey---Dream on girl---keep pretending the thousands of Christian tribes will put aside their doctrinal differences & all join hands for the Lord--then wake up to the reality that instead of unifying---Christianity is continuing to implode on itself by further fragmenting into more & more divisive squabbling sects.
