Well, he's been chewing on it or something. He has little scabs all around his neck, back, and by his tail. He's a Norweigan Forest, so it's really noticable when you see the bald patches on him. Were taking to the vet tommorrow, but I just want to know before time.
Thanks

It's not fleas, we checked. Combed him, bathed him, and checked his skin. No black specks.

And yes, my cat has had fleas once. Maybe like 9 months ago.

sounds like something my cat had... it turned out to be an allergy... sounds like he has something itchy going on.

Thats what happened to my cat. It all started when my cat got fleas. Did your cat ever get fleas or something like that? There gone but she still licks her body. When I see her doing it I get her to stop. My cat is still licking but shes getting better. I hope I gave good advice.

possibly fleas, or an allergic reaction to some kind. Does he have little flecks of black when you comb him? That's flea "gunk" .

Try giving him half of a Benadryl. That's what i usually give my dogs and cat when they have an itching fit!

there might be a rash or something, I'm not sure but the vet is the best choice.
