I want to temporarily color half my hair white. What can I use? Is there any "household" product or paint that will work or am I going to have to look for a wig?
thanks!
(btw, i have dark brown hair)

A trick that works to at least get grey hair is to use talcum powder. If your effect is to make you look elderly, this will work, and should wash out easily. Just shake it in, and be generous about it.

there is no way to temporarily color your hair white... even if you went to a salon and had a professional do it (which most definitely would NOT be temporary) the best you could get would be a very light, brassy, very DAMAGED yellow blonde color. You are best off buying a wig or trying to find colored hair gel in white (which I've used and if you have brunette hair the colors don't show up very well) So actually just get a wig it will be the easiest option in the end

Beauty supply stores carry colored hair spray and some also have colored pomades. It will not be perfectly "white" but you will get the effect. Paint? Your hair? Think about that, not a good idea.

Get a white colored hair spray from a party store. depending on how dark your hair is you might need a couple cans. But the CSR will be able to help you out with that.

You might be able to find some spray on stuff at a costume store, but a wig would work as well.

You can get a spray at the costume shops, but why not just look for a "Cruella Devil" wig. It would be easier. You might be able to find a cheap one on eBay. :) Good luck!

i hope thats for a play, or something. why would you want it white? look at the dollar store for hair spray paint, or use temporary dye if you can find it in white.

Don't mess around with your hair. You'll be sorry. Look for a wig.
