If you are doing pieces, like an oven 'fried' or shake and bake type..Put your oven at 425 and bake for 20 minutes, turn and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes. Let rest for 5-10 mins. Should be perfect.
For a whole chicken I like to bake it at 350 for 1 and 1/2 hours or until the leg moves easily or juices come out clear.
Sounds good!

This is quick and easy. A family favorite. Saturday Chicken 5 servings 10 chicken thighs (or whatever you prefer) 1 can condensed cream of mushroom (or cream of chicken) 1 cup of cream (dont cheat and use milk; the cream makes a lot of difference) salt, garlic powder, and paprika- to taste chopped parsley Season chicken with salt, garlic, and paprika. Next, spread it out, in one layer baking pan. Dilute the soup with the cream; pour it over the chicken, and sprinkle parsley on top. Bake , uncovered, at 350' for 1 hour or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with fork. Makes a delicious gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles or rice.

You said chicken pieces.......I'm getting not a whole chicken?
Brown well seasoned legs and thighs on med high heat in small amount of oil on all sides, put on baking sheet, pop into preheated 350 degree oven while you brown bone in breast meat (at least 10 min baking for legs and thighs before adding breast meat.). Add nicely browned breast pieces on sheet, bake 20-25-30 min., until juices run clear, depending on size of pieces.

A nice lemon, butter, garlic, caper sauce should go well.

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Brown the chicken pieces a few at a time in a fry pan and place in a
roasting pan.
Place in oven and when it returns to 180C reduce heat to 160C for 20 minutes per pound= an hour.
Remove and cover in a warm place and make some gravy from the juices.

Thirty minutes per pound so for 3 pounds 90 minutes in all at 325 to 350 degrees. Watch to check that they dont burn if you happen to have an oven that runs hot like mine. If they are not done but are getting too brown, cover with aluminum foil to prevent overbrowning.
