It's great. Congrats on not buying into religious superstition.

I believe in God but I think it doesn't matter that you don't...
I don't follow any religion, they are creations of men that bring many trouble and confusion (well, some good things too). For me hell doesn't exist, and God is not a being that creates people to send them to hell (He knows everything, no?). I always say that life on Earth is more insignificant than what most people think.
What if I'm wrong? I'd rather be a good person and honest to myself than to follow a religion only for fear of possible consequences.
So, the same for you, be true to yourself and try to be a good person, that's it.

It does not matter if you believe in God, what you need to think about is does God believe in you. If you think of belief as whether something exists then that is quite shallow, people used to believe the earth was flat. You should perhaps think of belief as trust and faith that what you ask for will be done. So does God believe in you?

Its really strange to me that there are so many people on this site saying they don't believe in God yet they keep asking questions and answering them. If you really didn't beleive in God or that there is a higher being I think you would have stopped a long time ago. You have to at least, a little believe that there is something higher or you wouldnt be asking questions like this.

Very honest assertion. Now if you continue to be objective and honest, I'm confident you'll eventually confront the inescapable conclusion that there is a God.

When you are confronted with that situation, you can continue to be honest in an awareness of God, or you can reject what God requires of you and become dishonest like the many here on this site who post rude answers, call people names and generally don't accept personal responsibility for their decisions.

Believe what you wish!

You can believe in a god who is all powerful (but does nothing), omnipresent (but never seen) and allknowing (but never speaks) - or not.

It's a sort of an imaginary friend for grownups.
Have one if you feel the need.
If not - then don't.

You're still attributing gender, physical perception, and self-reflection to God. BAD BAD BAD! God has none of these! God is God, not human. When you think of God, don't think of 'wise old magic man in the sky' think of infallible truth, like 2 + 2 = 4, or Cogito Ergo Sum. God is truth, not an old man in the sky who likes to 'play god'.

It may not matter to you right now but it will the moment you take your last breath. He does not NEED you but He does love you because you were created by Him for a purpose. It's up to you to find that purpose.

Look at it this way. if god exists and u follow his commands and worship him and respect like he was a king for all mankind, after life ends you are safe from hell and if he doesnt exist, then ur safe either way.

pick a religion where people respect you and u respect them
Islam, christianity. All of them are favorible, u just have to learn their ways and understand what this world is and how it came.

Here's the amazing part...he doesn't need you (or me.) He wants you (and me.)

He wants us to enter into relationship with him. It's not about religion...it's about relationship.

Religion is man's way of trying to reach God.

Relationship is God's way of reaching us through Jesus Christ.

Peace be with you.
