If you follow the weight watchers diet you wont feel hungry at all as it is well balanced.
A tip to keep you going as I do it every time you loose weight put the contents of what that weighs into a plastic bag and over time when you lift the bag you will see not only how much weight you used to carry around but also what you have lost.
Good luck

Hi it gets easier trust me and weight watcher does work. Ive done it and the weight drops off. But I didnt really feel too hungry on weight watchers. As I didnt starve myself, What I did I ate what I wanted but took it off my points allowance. Even though my portions where smaller I still felt full. Instead of giveing my self big meals which to tell you the truth never fill me up and I want some thing to eat 1 hour later. What I do is I have alight meal, Like a sandwich or soup or omellette which are around 1 and a half points and then I will have quite a big meal for my tea but I have points left over for snacks and supper. Even though they are only light snacks you never go hungry because you eat them when you want and take them off your points. I found not planning what I ate helped as I never felt like the food I written down. So I write it down take off points of the food I eat as I go throught the day and this way I can have what I want but obviously I will have to compensate other foods in place of what I would normally have. So if I wanteda mars bar thats 5 points I would take it off my supper leaving me with 1 and a half points left so then I can just have a slice of toat for my tea.
As you go through wait watchers you will see what is low points and what I do is try and make the most out of my points, so the less points I use in meals the more I have for desserts and savory things at snack time. Everyone does it differently but I found this is the only way I could stick to a diet and it worked.
Also water helps when you have a snack have a glass of water too this will stop you feeling hungry. Or come on yahoo answers when time flys in no time.
Good Luck and trust me it works.

Well done for starting your diet - I lost 2 stone with WW a few years back and it is a good plan where you never seem to go hungry.
You could try exercising (go out to a class or get a DVD) to fill some "snacking time"? That will make the weight drop off even quicker.
It will get easier!

Weight "Watchers" is a wonderful way to lose weight. A good friend of mine lost a lot of weight that way & has kept it off. Get into a different thought process now. Keep yourself busy doing other things, one by exercising daily. Taking a brisk walk for an hour a day will make a big difference in how you look & feel. The weight will come off at a safe rate by exercising, eating the WW way, & by drinking lots of water daily. Water is very important in weight loss. The safe amount to drink daily, is to take your current weight, divide that in two, & that's the amount of water in ounces, you can safely drink each day. That amount of course will change as your weight drops. Tape a before photo of yourself on your refrigerator, & when you feel like eating, look at that picture.
Good luck to you!!! You can & will do it!!!

it really helps if you do a lot of exercise. you might start feeling hungry at first, but, you wont later on. (not to mention, this helps you lose weight.)
also, you need to just suffer through being hungry until your stomach starts to shrink, so that you will feel full faster (yes your stomach can shrink).
as for distraction, dont stay around the house. go hang out with friends/work more/read/work out outside/take up a new hobby.
don't take any diet pills or anything (will ruin your body-- not worth it).
also, regarding suggestions to post a pic of yourself up on the fridge or whatever, dont do that. no reason to make yourself feel bad about your body. you should feel good about yourself to begin with. your weight should be important because it is a health concern-- you dont want to damage yourself mentally by putting yourself down to motivate to lose weight.
good luck :)

You need to keep busy -
Read a book, magazine...
Sort out your wardrobe... put together all those outfits for the summer.
Clean the house - great exercise and you'll sleep better when everything is clean...
Gardening - plant some new plants, weeding, etc...
Take up a new hobby that uses your hands and brain - pottery, cross stitch, etc.
Good luck. My best mate has also joined Weight Watchers, so am doing all I can to keep her busy too!!!

Weight watchers is good as it doesn't make you go hungry. make sure you have loads of nice fruit, (like grapes) around. Drink plenty of water as most times when we feel hungry, we are actually just thirsty. Keep busy, break the snacking cycle by taking up a hobby that keeps you occupied (reading, learning an instrument, knitting, computer games, sudoku......).
Come on yahoo answers to distract yourself by all our weird and crazy questions!!

I used to go to bed quite early just so that i was not close to the kitchen. When i really felt like something i made myself a huge salad with grated carrot, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and grated a small piece of garlic onto a spoon and a few drops of olive oil, i munched on that. I also use to get those jelly snakes and ate one of them when i was really desperate and i did not gain any weight. Nibble on a carrot as well. MMM I feel for you, i am not going to diet again, sick of it.
