She was right though, you shouldn't kill yourself. Trust me, I've thought about it before, even tried it a couple times. Whatever problems you are having will go away. Your going to run into all kinds of obstacles and potholes on the highway of life. Killing yourself is just not worth it. Think of all the people you would be hurting if you did. Not only your family, but your friends as well. You should talk to someone about what you are going through. Killing yourself is NOT the way. It isn't going to solve anything. You would just be creating sadness and doubt in your friends and family. They would always wonder if it was something they did to cause you to do something like that. Just take comfort in the fact that she cared enough about you to not let you go through with it. you should be thankful that you have friends that care about you. Nobody claims that life is easy and we ALL have our problems. None of them are worth killing yourself over.

I tried committing suicide when I was 16 yrs old. As a result, I had liver damage until I was like 25 yrs old. My dad found me, but I was too embarassed to go to the hospital. I couldn't move for days...even after I threw most of the pills up. If she is talking about it, she wants intervention. She needs help, and it may be out of your league. Sometimes you dont get a lucky and somehow live through it. A friend of mine from high school committed suicide a few years ago. There is no closure when someone takes their own life. Talk to a counselor, have them to intervene. But depression only gets worst if the person doesn't get any help. She reached out to you, so you have to make the best decision for her safety. Would you rather she be mad at you and live? Or would you rather live with the guilt that maybe you could have saved her if you did something?

Sorry too hear that your feeling like that...
Its really important that firstly you get some help , your parents , doctor , a fav teacher anyone...
Secondly , through personal experience ive found that people who are worried about there friends or family react in so many different ways , some may react in a positive way and be really supportive , others might blame you , and some maybe angry at you...
Whichever , please know that your friend really cares for you and im sure she didnt mean too hurt you.
Please get some help..i really hope you feel better soon

Go see your school counselor, they can get you the help that you need. There is no reason for you to have to feel like you do. You're suffering needlessly, you don't deserve to feel so poorly. You have to let people know you're hurting so they can help you. That's the only way to feel better. If your friend didn't care for you, she wouldn't have been so upset with you. And think of all the guilt you would be putting on her if anything happened to you. That wouldn't be fair at all, and you know you don't want to hurt anyone. Please, get the help you need and take care of yourself. You are very fortunate to have a friend who cares so much for you.
