He had a bad day Friday. How can I use that to tell him I like him?

Basically, we're good friends. We've been pretty much BFF for a year, and we care about each other. I dont have his # and he doesnt have IM, so, please dont use that. I think he likes me, because he hugged me when we were in a play together, and let me put my head on his shoulder (he put his head on mine. lol. It was adorable). However, he doesnt act the same way in classes (we're only in 1 class together, Varsity Choir). On Friday, he didnt talk to me at all, but he was anti-social with everyone, a complete opposite of himself. I think he was having a bad day. I really want to make sure hes happy. I also really need to tell him my secret, I have had a HUGE crush on him for a while now. Is there a way to tell him, while simply asking him about his day, and his weekend? Thanks!

You could say, "Hey, I noticed that you weren't yourself Friday." It really bothered me because I care about you. If there's anything I can do, or you just need to talk, I'm here for you." See where that goes, then you'll have more clues about how he feels about you.

If he was anti-social with you and everyone else, he may have some home issues that are bothering him. Better be careful about revealing your crush. You might get hurt. I'd wait a few days to see if he comes out of his anti-social state. If he doesn't, tread carefully. A crush can change fast, and if he hugged you during a play, that doesn't mean much.
