Can I deduct my entire home cable tv bill? It's part of my research, work, keeping up with the latest visuals. I do broadcast graphics.

For the first half of the year, I was a W2 employee, the second half, freelancer, self employed, 1099s.

Are you self employed or a w-2 employee? If you're self employed you can probably legitimately write off the full amount as a business expense. If you're a w-2 employee, you will be required to show proof of how often your cable tv is actually used for business purposes, and will probably only be able to deduct a fraction of the cost of your cable.

Do you pay for it out of your business account or personal account?

If the former, you have a fair chance of getting away with it.
