some are visible, some are covered. when i'm naked they are all visible! I do have one that cannot be covered by clothes. it is on my hand.

i guess they can be either. i have one on each of my feet so if i am going shoeless or wearing some form of open shoe then they are visible.
my other tattoo is on my back and it's visibility also depends on how i am dressed. most of the time it is covered, however there are times when part of it shows. usually when i wear tank tops or other "going out" clothes the top of it can be seen but never do i wear anything that shows the whole thing... i'm not much into going half naked around town.

My tattoos are on my hip and in the middle of my spine between shoulders so they can be covered or visible!

I have 3 and all can be covered when I want or I can show them off when I want.. depends on the time/place.
I am getting a 4th in 2 weeks that will be totally visisble. But I have a special stage makeup to cover it up for work etc.

Depends on what I am wearing! If I wear a pair of swimmers, they are both visible but I can cover them up if I want too...Although I love to show my large tribal back piece!

I have 6 tattoos and all can be covered if wanted, they can not be seen with pants and a tshirt, but they can be seen with shorts and a basketball jersey. I think thats the best way.

Mine stops at the t-shirt line, so barring a workout tee or hot tubbing, no. I don't do the sun thing - so pale, I'd combust, and it would be bad for the tattoos.

They are mainly visible during the spring and summer.

I have one on my upper shoulder, and plan to get one around my upper bicep and shoulder on the opposite arm. None of them are/will be visible unless I am sleeveless.
