I've been feeling nauseous on and off the last few days. but only when I'm hungry. for example, when I don't eat, instead of feeling hungry when I usually do, I feel nauseous. I've already chugged some pepto bismol(actually a generic brand called pink bismuth) but It hasn't done anything. I'll go to the doctor to see what it is, but for now I need some quick fixes. anyone know how to make the nauseous feeling go away?

I called my doctor to see what time he closes and some lady who couldn't speak english(she was chinese) told me 7. so I went at 4 and the nurse who obviously hasn't been laid in years said I was too late that they stopped taking patients already. at four! so she wrote down what was wrong with me and said that the doctor would send a prescription to my pharmacy. so I still have no idea what it is.

Room temperature club soda always helps me. And, make sure you drink plenty of clear liquid to help wash out your system. Also, soda crackers. Stay away from Pepto if you can because it'll just clog you up, and your stomach would like to get rid of whatever bug is disturbing it.

If you know it's hunger that sets off the nausea, try to keep some crackers, energy bars, or other snacks handy with you when you feel this coming on. If you're hungry, eat a few small bites as soon as you can, enuf to make you feel better.

Has this nausea when hungry come on suddenly, or gradually over time? As another poster stated, it could be a change in your metabolism, or it could be something more serious, such as changes in blood sugar levels related to diabetes.
