You can use clear packing tape it seems to help some! I used this in my bait shop for years when customers had that problem!
Or if using round cage just use a cottage cheese or whatever lid on top!I duct tape one side to hold it on so when u need a cricket flip the lid and pop a cricket out!

Get a cricket bucket or tube.They are better than the box and have a hole that allows 1 cricket at a time.

if you using a box to carry crickets in use an old pair of nylon hose. their feet will get caught and won't be able to escape

i get a wire mesh bottle with a small opening with a cork and then you just sake out one at a time that way.
